In Warrior 2 visualize your internal and external goals for 2019.  Practice the shape on the right side and the left side, continuing to invite specific visions of your best life.

                               

STEP 1 - Begin standing and step your feet one-leg distance apart. Turn your right foot out so the outer edge of your foot is parallel with the long edge of your mat and angle your back foot towards your front foot.

STEP 2 - Inhale and reach your arms up parallel to the floor. Exhale and bend your front knee 90 degrees until your right knee is over your ankle.

STEP 3 - Turn your palms up, engage the subtle strength through the reach of your arms and the active strength in your legs. Turn your head and gaze past your right middle finger. Breathe evenly through 5-8 rounds of breath.   

MODIFICATION: THE WEATHERVANE

STEP 1 - Begin either sitting in a chair or standing. Engage your feet into the floor.

STEP 2 - Inhale and reach your arms up parallel to the floor. Turn your palms up.

STEP 3 - Exhale and turn your head and to neck to gaze past your right middle finger. Breath evenly through 5-8 rounds of breath.

Detail out a clear specific action plan.

Who? What? Where? When? How?

Get into the nitty gritty.

Choosing ONE goal is the medicine. We are not manifestation machines.  Our dreams cannot be mass produced, they thrive with focus, time, and love.


STEP 3 - MEDITATE

AUM  also known as   Pranava Mantra  The recitation of this mantra transmits the energy of the universe the realm of possibility beginnings/creation living/sustenance death/transformation    sit comfortably focus on your in-breath and on your out-breath inhale and mentally say "AUM" exhale and mentally say "AUM"     Breath like this for several minutes. focusing only on the mantra and your breath.      *For more details on Pranava Mantra please refer to "The Complete Illustrated Book of Yoga" by Swami Vishnu-devananda.
